On Monday September 19 we were enlightened by one of middle school’s finest—WHO CAN EXPAND YOUR LEARNING!
Our featured speaker, Dr. Lorelle Dawes, is the current Middle School Principal of the Year for the State of California as chosen by ACSA (the Association of California School Administrators)! Clearly, this is an administrator who knows her stuff!
However, she had now moved into a new role at VUSD: she is now the Director of expanded learning! She shared more about her current role and a little about how it differs from her previous role. The new Principal of Cabrillo, Courtney Johnson was also introduced to the club.
