The Rotary Clubs of Ventura and Lions joined forces for the 22nd annual back pack project. On Saturday August 10 the volunteers put together approximately 800 backpacks for Ventura middle and high school students.
The Rotary Club of Ventura South volunteers included: Bob Braitman, Marty Moss, Kendall and John Mattina, Carrie Van Acker and son Christian, Jack and Carol Pollock and grand daughters Saisana and Surivanh Pollock. The project went quickly and all the backpacks were loaded into volunteer vehicles for delivery this coming week.
